Tanam Sasi (Sasi planting)
Tanam sasi is a tradition from Marin tribes from Merauke, Papua. Sasi is a kind of wood, they will put sasi after 40 days death of someone's graveyard and will repeal it after 1000 days. Sasi's carving means:1. Symbolize the arrival of ancestors' soul
2. To expressed their sadness and happiness.
3, As a symbol of their religion
4. As a description of beauty and ancestors memories.
